It is a tool you can use to track information on your desktop, but it can also live in a Web page, like below. Once you install widgets, you can actually grab them from Web pages and load them on your desktop.
Think of our widgets as little windows into the web. Now you can stay up to date without wasting time searching! You can drag them around your desktop, open multiple versions of the same widget, and even dock them against the side of your screen so they stay open while you work!
We will be adding new widgets as fast as we can make them and offering you more of the world of FOX content in the best and most exciting ways we can!
The SpringWidget engine allows you to "pop" our widgets from sites that offer them -- cool, huh? Once you have the program installed, every time you come across a button, just click it and you'll be able to download that widget!
SpringWidgets contain NO Spyware, NO Adware, and NO Malware.
Easy to install (and remove) and is your key to getting the best of FOX and more delivered right to you desktop.
System Requirements:
Windows XP with Service Pack 1 installed or Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 installed, or newer. A connection to the internet, 512 megabytes of RAM is recommended.
There are a number of ways to access RSS feeds. You can install a news reader that displays RSS feeds from Web sites you select, enabling you to view hundreds of headlines at once. After installing the news reader, you can add each feed manually from the Web site by clicking on the "Subscribe" or the "XML" orange button next to the feed.
An alternative to downloading a dedicated news reader is to use a Web-based news reader. For example, my yahoo! or MyAOL users can now add RSS feeds directly to their personal page.
