Major League Standards


Before baseball bats ever make it into the hands of Red Sox players, they go through strenuous testing at a University of Massachusetts Lowell laboratory. Robotic air cannons test the bats, firing baseballs as fast as 200 mph, all to make sure players don't have an unfair advantage.
